Krakow Film Festival Ticket Giveaway!

With just five days to go before the clapperboard snaps down on the opening scene of the 52nd Krakow Film Festival, we’re offering our readers the chance to win tickets to red-carpet events on the programme.

The Festival opens on May 28 with the Polish premiere of Marley – the critically acclaimed biopic of reggae legend Bob Marley directed by Kevin Macdonald, who will be attending the screening.

The Krakow Post has two, double tickets to the premiere, which will be at Kijów.Centrum at 18:00. To win: tell us what single question you would ask Bob Marley if you could share an ‘aromatic’ cigarette with him today. Post your question in the comments below, or email them to the editor.

Not a reggae fan? We also have four, all-day tickets that will get you in to any and all movies and events on the day of your choice. You can check the festival programme here. To win: tell us what your fantasy day at the movies would consist of (no x-rated plots please). Again, post your suggestions below, or email them to the editor.

Still not hooked? Rummaging around in our pockets, we have also come up with 10 double tickets to a range of selected events. The choices are: A Helen Trestikova Retrospective, Look at Italy!, Krakow Documentary Premieres, The Sound of Music, Somewhere in Europe, Short Matters!, A Panorama of Polish film, Night of Student Short Films, and the Children’s Festival. Details of these features can be found on the Krakow Film Festival Website. Tickets will go to the first 10 people to post the name of the event they would like to attend.

Be sure to use a genuine email address when posting comments, otherwise we won’t be able to get in touch with the winners*. The competition closes on 12 noon, Friday May 25.

*As always, we will not sell, distribute or publicise your email address.
