BBC Focusses on Krakow and Warsaw

The BBC is airing interviews with Cracovians this weekend as part of its Working Lives series.

The programme, which features six locals from very different walks of life, can be seen on the BBC World satellite and digital channel this Saturday and Sunday and is also available online.

Working Lives: Krakow looks at the daily routines of a female tram driver, the millionaire head of a window manufacturer, a Hejnał trumpeter, a farmer, a steelworker and a student.

The BBC’s One Square Mile series is also taking a look at Poland this week, with a programme about Warsaw.

One Square Mile presenter Paddy O’Connell tours the new National Stadium, talks to the residents of the Praga district and samples a traditional milk bar. The programme is also available online.
