PHOTOS: Krakow Black Lives Matter march

This afternoon over a thousand people peacefully gathered in Krakow during sporadic rain in memorial of George Floyd, a black man murdered by a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 25th. (Read more here)

Demonstrators marched from a memorial site in front of the US consulate around Krakow’s Old Town to Mały Rynek, where several speeches were given (mostly by black activists) in English and Polish on the themes of racial unity and ending police racism and brutality.

Wish the media would investigate the human rights situations of folks in Belarus, Russia, and Communist China. Would like to see young people be concerned with real issues other than with a person who refused to comply with the orders of police officers.

I laugh at the person who held the placard saying ‘educate yourself’. If that person had bothered to educate themselves they would have found out that the biggest killer of black men in USA is… black men.

You never get a word from the Black Lives Matter crowd when a black person kills another black person. It appears that some black lives are worth more than other black lives to ‘Black Lives Matter.’

And the biggest killer of white men is… white men. You’re more likely statistically to be killed by someone of the same colour. It’s the same in Poland too. I don’t know why, it’s just how it works.
An interesting distraction but really nothing to do with the police killing unarmed black people Christopher. Unless you’re suggesting that black people fitting a statistical norm is a reason to die. It doesn’t paint you in the best light Chris
