Rafał Murawski, the attacking midfielder of Lech Poznań, has been transfered to Rubin Kazan. The Russian team that bought Murawski for 2.5 million euro is Russia’s defending champion and therefore will be active in the group stages of the Champions League starting in September. Murawski played for Lech Poznań from 2006 and scored 19 goals in 70 games. During the last season the Polish international was Lech Poznań’s team captain.

In addition, Wisła defender Cléber Guedes de Lima has transferred to the Russian Premier League. The 34-year-old Brazilian defender who served the current football champions of Poland for three years transfers to mid-table ranked Terek Grozny.

Someone not transferring in the end is Jerzy Dudek. The reserve goalkeeper of Real Madrid decided to extend his contract at his current club for another year. The 36-year-old Dudek was considering a transfer to his old Dutch club Feyenoord, or to German champions VfL Wolfsburg.
