Radwańska Advances to Last 16

Agnieszka Radwańska has made it through to the 1/8 final of Wimbledon. The Cracovian top tennis player had a hard nut to crack, against her opponent Na Li from China. In the end a break per set turned out to be enough: 6-4, 7-5. Radwańska now faces the 17-yea-old sensation of this year’s Ladies Singles tournament, Melanie Oudin (USA), who was responsible for the elimination of title candidate Jelena Jankovic. The winner of the final 16th game between Radwańska and Oulin will face the winner of the highly anticipated match between two favourites, Ana Ivanovic and Venus Williams, in the quarter finals.
