Italian architects will design a museum of contemporary art which will be created in the former Schindler?s Factory in Krakow. They won the contest of the Krakow Municipality for best design.The Italians were invited to Krakow to negotiate the arrangement.

The legendary Italian composer Ennio Morricone delighted a crowd of 40,000 on June 7 with a concert highlighting Krakow's 750th anniversary celebrations that was excellent except for sound-system problems.

The graffiti mural project was hotly debated by the Krakow Municipality, which was divided on whether it would be proper to propagate graffiti in Krakow. In the end, however, the Municipality was persuaded to accept the project as an official part of the 750th Anniversary Location Jubilee.

Organizers of this year's Krakow Parade of Dragons can rest contented. On Saturday, their event bought thousands of city inhabitants and tourist to the streets.
The success can be measured not only by the number of dragons and people watching and participating in the Parade, but also by the smiles on the faces of the children who animated the colorful beasts or those who simply stood by watching.
