The system is simple. A bus parked at a depot waits for a signal from a dispatcher. After receiving a number of passengers' calls, the dispatcher informs the driver which route to take. The bus needs to be booked only 30 minutes in advance.

Aviation fans from Krakow and the entire Malopolska region will celebrate their love for airplanes on Saturday and Sunday at the annual Aviation Picnic at the old airport in Czyzyny. At the event, aircraft enthusiasts will have the chance to see historical planes flying overhead.

At the beginning of June, Wizz Air announced the opening of new flights between Poland and the UK, connecting Glasgow-Prestwick with Katowice-Pyrzowice, and making Katowice its third city of destination apart from Gdansk and Warsaw. The first flight between Glasgow-Prestwick and Katowice will take off on September 3, 2007 and will initially operate 3 times a week.

Professor of History at the Jagiellonian University Andrzej Chwalba suggested in a column of Dziennik Polski to organize a kings and princes convention in Krakow in 2014.

After the third tram accident at ul. Dietla and ul. Stradom crossroads, the Road and Transport Management Board in Krakow (KZD) has made an experiment confirming the poor conditions of tram-lanes in Krakow, Gazeta Wyborcza reported.
