Budget airline opens new base, expands flights to Krakow

On Thursday, 25 March, budget airline Ryanair opened a new base, and with it, a new route to Krakow. The Leeds Bradford base will connect the city to Krakow three times per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Ryanair UK, IRL and CEE Sales and Marketing Manager Laszlo Tamas expanded on the company's plans for the Polish city: "Ryanair will open another seven new routes to Krakow in the upcoming weeks and will carry approx. one million passengers this year to Balice Airport and will be the most significant contributor to the tourism in Krakow and to the tourism in the Małopolska region”.
