Wow!Night event features Polish stars

Those who have celebrated the beginning of the New Year on Krakow's Market Square before may know what to expect: unbelievable crowds, loud music, and an unforgettable atmosphere as everyone bids the previous year dowidzenia and celebrates the coming of the next one with a bang - literary, with fireworks and the collective uncorking of hundreds of bottles of champagne.

This year promises the same kind of excitement, with a distinctly Polish flavour. While previous years have brought international headliners, this year's headliner is rock goddess Agnieszka Chylińska. The rest of the evening, which begins at 8 pm, brings some of Poland's top DJs to turn the Market Square into the city's biggest club.
