On Saturday, May 19, the Villa Decius Association and PAUCI Foundation will hold an international economic meeting at Villa Decius in Krakow. Planned topics include Ukraine?s present and future investment projects in Poland and the EU and Poland?s investment projects in Ukraine.
The conference targets Polish and Ukrainian business groups and MBA students. Participants will exchange ideas for future projects and activities to be shared by the two nations, while maintaining a focus on economic cooperation and development.
A special panel will assess social-accountability business models in the U.S., EU, Poland and Ukraine.
An analysis will also be conducted of Polish and Ukrainian investors and the role of NGOs in setting trade policies and tightening economic relations.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Olexandr Motsyk will head the meeting.

Polish House in St. Petersburg
On Sunday, May 13, First Lady of Poland Maria Kaczynska and First Lady of Russia Ludmila Putin officially opened the Polish House in the historical center of St. Petersburg.
The center will be open to all ethnic communities and city residents interested in Polish history and culture, RIA Novosti informed.
?People who honor and respect culture and traditions respect the culture of others. The opening of the Polish House in St. Petersburg is a significant event as it strengthens the friendship between our two nations,? said Putin.
Kaczynska thanked everyone who took part in the preparations for the opening of the Polish House in St. Petersburg.
?I am glad that the people of St. Petersburg will have a place where they can learn more about Polish history and culture. This is the first time that I have visited St. Petersburg and I truly admire the beauty of the city. I am doubly touched,? Kaczynska added, ?as my mother was born here.?
