The Krakow Philharmonic Hall will be playing host to The Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra and The Krakow Philharmonic Choir this Saturday, September 8 at 19:00. The Last Night of the Proms concert will be conducted by Mark Fitz-Gerald, with Sally Wilson the mezzo-soprano and Mariusz Patura on violin.
The concert presented by the British Polish Chamber of Commerce on behalf of Krakow Industrial Society will feature performances by Karol Szymanwoski, Jules massenet, Niccolo Paganini, Edward Elgar, Gioacchino Rossini and Henry Wood.
The set will comprise of pieces such as Sabbath Morning at Sea, the Pomp and Circumstance March, Rule Britannia, March Entrance of the Gladiators, The Swimmer, Fantasia on British Sea-Songs and many others. As part of the evening performances, there will be a reception after the concert.
It will take place at The Krakow City Hall with everyone invited to meet the artists, the orchestra and the performers.
