Euro 2012 Ticket Registration Opens

Today the official website of the European Football Association, euro2012.com, began a process of email registration for tickets to the 2012 European Championships in Poland and Ukraine.

Fans who wish to be informed as soon as tickets are available for sale can enter their email address in the designated spot on the website. According to unofficial information from Polskie Radio, the order of applications may be relevant in the distribution of tickets.

The actual tickets for matches will go on sale in the spring of 2011, during which time about 1.4 million tickets will be sold for 31 matches. Fans will be able to buy tickets for either individual matches or team tickets for each of the 16 participating teams, including the hosts.
