Plaque for Smolensk Victims to be Unveiled
On Friday, a new plaque will be revealed honouring the victims of the Smolensk tragedy, which include former President Lech Kaczyński. The unveiling ceremony will begin the previous evening at 7 pm in the same crypt where the former president and first lady are buried in the Wawel Cathedral.
10 September is the five-month anniversary of the plane crash that claimed 96 lives, including many top officials in the Polish government and military.
