The most popular traditionally female names:

And the most popular traditionally male names:

• Szymon
• Franciszek
• Aleksander

• Wojciech

Other names were quite rare, including:

• Miłosława
• Augusta
• Cecylia
• Roma
• Irena
• Marlena
• Julita
• Gloria
• Kira

…and uncommon names traditionally given to boys:

None of the names requested by parents were turned down by officials in Krakow last year.
