US will give $15M for Auschwitz museum
A state visit by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has resulted in a $15 million pledge to the Auschwitz museum and a formal agreement with Poland for a unified missile defense system.
Speaking at the recently re-opened Schindler Factory Museum in Krakow, Clinton praised Poland’s efforts to support the United States in defense operations around the world and for its ongoing commitment to democracy, a nod to Sunday’s presidential election.
The pledge of aid to the Auschwitz museum comes on top of multi-million Euro pledges from the EU and Germany.
