On 27 May at 1 pm the National Museum in Krakow will host a seminar titled “New Dutch climate guidelines and the reason why they were needed”. The talk, led by Dr. Bart Ankersmit of the Dutch Institute for Cultural Heritage, will focus on the preservation of historical buildings, something Krakow is not lacking.
Dr. Ankersmit, a doctor of chemistry, specialises in issues of environmental impact on historical buildings, preventive maintenance and risk management. He is an active organiser of workshops and training in hazard identification and risk assessment of museum collections. The seminar will be conducted in English.
