Update: Błonia Cross Removed

Last night, a cross was illegally erected on the Błonia Common in Krakow, and then removed in the morning. According to Gazeta Wyborcza, at 4 am inspectors from the Board of Municipal Infrastructure and Transport disassembled and removed a cross that was erected without the proper documentation on public property near the Papal stone on the Błonia.

The area in question is now under guard by the city.
