Krakow’s Piłsudski Bridge to be renovated

Krakow city officials have announced that Piłsudski Bridge, Krakow’s oldest, will be renovated next month.

Completed in 1933, the bridge links Kazimierz and Podgórze across the Vistula River.

The renovation will include cleaning, the addition of lighting along the span of the bridge, and replacement of corroded rivets.

Construction is expected to last 10 months, eight of which the bridge will be closed.
