Number of tourists in Poland increase in 2018

The number of tourists in Poland has increased in 2018 compared to the previous year, according to the government’s Central Statistical Office.

The organization compared data from both years between January and July or guests in facilities with 10 or more beds and found a growth of over 6%.

Most of the tourists, however, were domestic – of the 23.1 million this year so far, 18.3 million were traveling from another part of Poland. From other countries:

• 1.3 million came from Germany
• 366,000 came from the UK
• 320,000 came from Ukraine
