Water Trams on the Wisła

Visitors wanting to take a more scenic route to the Tyniec Monastery now have a new option, in the form of a water tram. The one and a half hour route starts at Galeria Kazimierz and makes a stop at Kotlarski Bridge, the Wawel Castle, and the Mountain Canoeing Track (Tor Kajakarstwa Górskiego) before arriving at its destination, Tyniec.

However, though the boat is dubbed a “water tram”, don’t expect it to be a practical mode of daily transportation. In addition to taking 1.5 hours for the entire journey, the tram only runs three times per day (starting at 10 m, 1:30 pm, and 5 pm, and returning from noon, 3:30 pm, and 7 pm) and costs 20 złoty one way for the full trip.
