Crossroads Festival Rocking the Rynek

For those of you who are wondering why a stage has been erected on the Market Square yet again, perhaps you haven’t heard of the Roszstaje – or Crossroads – festival.

The Crossroads Festival of Traditional music has been bringing folk and world music performers to Krakow’s Market Square for 11 summers now. This year’s edition, which begin yesterday and will continue through Sunday, features musicians from around Europe.

The concerts are split between the Market Square and the Rotunda club, which is located close to the National Museum and Błonia Common. For a full schedule, see the festival’s official website: rozstaje.pl.
