Leszek Kolakowski to be Buried in Poland

Though he spent the last half of his life in exile, the late philosopher and academic Leszek Kołakowski, who passed away last Friday at the age of 81, will be buried in his native Poland.

Kołakowski’s body will be transported from Oxford, England, to Poland by air, and will be buried with military honours according to a statement by Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski made yesterday.
