“Van Gogh Alive” in Krakow
An exhibit previously on show in Warsaw, Berlin, Milan, Florence, Shanghai, has now made Krakow its new temporary home. Starting August 20th an exhibit entitled “Van Gogh Alive” will be on display in the ‘old’ Dworzec building next to Galeria Krakowska. The exhibit explores the artwork of the artist while incorporating SENSORY4 technology, a new multimedia platform that allows the exhibit to display artwork on various surfaces.
Ticket prices will range from 50-60 PLN for normal tickets, 30-50 PLN for discounted tickets and 25-40 PLN for groups. [LoveKrakow]
New trains for local rail
By the end of this year six new regional trains are set to hit the tracks of Lesser Poland. The new trains are from Impuls, and are meant for the new Lesser Poland Rail route from Krakow to Tarnów. The new trains will be able to travel at the speed of 160 km/h and will include outlets in every cabin. [LoveKrakow]
