Second Case of Swine Flu in Poland

A man travelling from New York City to Wrocław on Tuesday, and stopping in Frankfurt and Munich on the way, was tested positive for the H1N1 type A virus, otherwise known as the “swine flu.”

He is the second person to fall ill with the virus in Poland, after a woman was diagnosed on the 2nd of May in Tarnobrzeg. The woman has made a healthy recovery, and doctors expect the man to be fine as well.

Several people that he has had contact with are being observed closely for symptoms, and the Health Ministry is urging anyone who was on any of the man’s flights to get tested if they start exhibiting any symptoms.
