Since the start of the year 12 new bike paths have popped up around the city on 24 different streets. The increase in bike paths is tied to the limited vehicles on the road during World Youth Day, which still may increase before the event’s start date.

The new bike paths can be found on the following streets: Zapolskiej, Chełmońskiego, Motyla, Chopina, Racławicka, Nowowiejska, Chocimska, Bema, Cieszyńska, Sienkiewicza, Zamoyskiego and Pomorska. [LoveKrakow]

Last touches before WYD, sidewalks given new life

As part of the city’s ‘last touches’ before World Youth Day small works will be done on sidewalks, which are all planned to be ready by July 15th. The areas of focus will be Ofiar Dąbia and Stoczniowców streets. All work will be done from 7 am or 4:30 am, depending on the day.

Other areas that will get new sidewalks are the following: Powstańców, Mazowieckiej, Zarzecze, Heila, Republiki Korczakowskiej, Na Kozłówce, Warneńczyka, Wadowickiej, Bulwarowej and al. Solidarności. [LoveKrakow]
