City bikes back July 15th

Starting July 15th the old system of city bikes will start up. As previously reported, the city’s initial plans were to roll out a new, modern city bike system. This however was followed with a legal conflict, pushing back the launch date. Now the city has instead decided to bring back the old system. [LoveKrakow]

Last road works before WYD

Starting today, two new streets will be renovated as part of preparations for World Youth Day. Alei Trzech Wieszczów and Jasnogórska Street will be the newest streets to get a touch up, with road works taking place between 19:00 and 5 am on Alei Tzech Wieszczów. However, drivers on Jasnogóska Street will experience more inconveniences. These streets will mark the end of the city’s series of road works leading up to World Youth Day. [Radio Krakow]
