TEDxKazimierz 2015

Registration to attend TEDxKazimierz 2016 is now open for people who would like to see inspiring speakers from around the world come to the Galicia Museum in Krakow’s Jewish district on June 18th to talk about their ideas.

This will be the second-ever TEDxKazimierz following a successful premier last year. 2016’s theme is “Transformation.” As its website states, this “may refer to local politics and the economy, secondly – to the realm of innovation and technology, and finally – the personal changes taking place in all of us.”

Tickets are low at 29zł, though not everyone is guaranteed entry due to the event’s popularity, meaning that all who wish to receive a ticket must fill out a brief online questionnaire introducing themselves and why they would like to attend. For those without a ticket, the event will be live-streamed online.

You can register here and follow updates on Facebook.

TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conferences were founded in California in 1984 to promote “ideas worth spreading,” and in the following years they have become a staple of public intellectual life, with talks and events live-streamed globally to millions annually. Communities may host their own local TEDx events as long as they conform to guidelines set by the the main organization.
