Vintage tram travels around the city

Today at 9 am a tram from 1901 traveled around the city. The tram’s course took it from Bronowice Małe through Wszystkich Świętych Square until finally ending in Łagiewniki. Conductors alike were dressed in early twentieth century uniforms to fit the era of the vintage tram. [Love Krakow]

Cracovia trainer benched

Jacek Zieliński, trainer for Krakow’s football team Cracovia, has been disqualified for the next two upcoming matches. This comes after the trainer fell into a fit of rage after a Cracovia – Legia Warszawa match. The conduct was deemed unprofessional by a council, leading to the verdict. He has been the trainer of Cracovia since 2015. [Love Krakow]

Solution to Podgorze traffic?

A new proposal to combat rush hour traffic from the Youth City Council (Młodzieżowej Rady Miasta Krakowa) suggests offering free public transport for drivers. The proposal focuses mainly on the traffic heavy area in Podgorze near the rail line construction project. The head of the Youth Council has reached out to the president of Krakow concerning the proposal. [Radio Krakow]
